Customisable light ceiling for uniform illumination of complex room geometries

Luminous ceilings or even illuminated walls are often used as the sole source of lighting in rooms, whether over the entire surface of the room or just as an accentuated surface element.

An illuminated ceiling can also be used acoustically effective or make rooms appear larger by illuminating walls or ceilings.

The use of prints that give free rein to the designer's imagination is exciting.

The illuminated ceilings or illuminated walls are always customised and are therefore suitable for any interior application, in some cases also for canopies.

A SATTLER luminous ceiling is characterised by the following points:

- Homogeneous design with long-life, high-performance LEDs with high colour rendering CRI>90, min. L80B10 70,000h service life in static white or tunable white
- RGB circuit boards are often also used for mood lighting. However, this is also often used as additional effect lighting around the edges, but of course full-surface lighting is also possible on request
- Power supply units are housed in maintenance-friendly locations
- We can cater for all possible dimming controls
- Low maintenance thanks to long-life LEDs and sealed housings or room bodies
- Tensioning foils or fabrics can be used, depending on the application
- If required, acoustically effective materials as diffusers or additional acoustic panels installed in -the background to reduce the reverberation time

There are no limits to the installation options here either:

- Recessed luminaires -> Installation flush with the surface or offset inwards with visible ceiling edge
- Surface-mounted -> with aluminium housing, usually powder-coated
- Pendant -> suspended on steel cables or threaded rods
- Semi-recessed installation -> only part of the luminous ceiling is visible, the remaining installation depth is concealed in the ceiling, so only a small edge is visible. This is often used for low installation depths of suspended ceilings
- as a 3D design element - e.g. walls that are not smooth but moulded, or changing rooms, larger funnel-shaped pendant luminaires are among our experiences here.
