Historic church building
The historic church building of the Protestant Church in Westhofen features very well-preserved classical elements. Today, one walks through the church with great respect, marvelling at what people once created with their own hands, without the aid of major machinery. Rows of wooden pews. A large, beautiful classical organ. High-ceilinged rooms lined with columns. A baptismal font. The altar. Paintings depicting scenes from the Gospel. Hand-blown, colourful stained-glass windows. Hand-painted ceilings.
The community continues to cherish these spaces by combining them with modern possibilities.
New golden LED ring lights now adorn the room. To match the existing style, they have been given a special finish. A shimmering golden glaze. Due to the high ceiling height, a suspension system using pendant canopies was chosen, partly to avoid a loss of light output and to ensure energy-efficient lighting. By using pendant canopies, the suspension points could be designed in a highly minimalist style, meaning no major alterations to the existing building were necessary. This type of suspension is particularly suitable for historic ceilings, such as those found in Westhofen Church.
The pendant canopies shine in the same golden hue as the ring lights themselves.

Gold-glazed rings gleam with anticipation on the production line before they set off on their journey to bring light to people’s lives.
Appreciating values. Live Life.
