There are specific requirements for lighting in medical practices, particularly dental practices, where colour values as close to reality as possible must be determined. And, of course, a "cosy atmosphere" should be created for patients, as far as this is possible.

Good lighting for a beautiful smile

A dental practice has a range of lighting requirements. At the Zahnteam Neuhausen practice, the reception lighting, waiting room lighting, corridor lighting and the crucial lighting in the treatment room were all designed and installed using SATTLER. Particular emphasis is placed on the quality of light and the broad light spectrum at the dental treatment unit. Other areas have been designed to be clear and harmonious. In the practice, pendant lights fitted with SunLike LEDs hang above the dentist’s chair in the treatment room. Linear lights and BE2 recessed spotlights serve as subtle path lighting. And right at the entrance, an ensemble of lights comprising various square frame luminaires from the GIOCO series is installed at reception and in the waiting room.

The practice’s reception area conveys a modern, clean first impression. The square and rectangular pendant lights from the GIOCO series form a lighting ensemble on the ceiling, comprising frame lights with both direct and indirect illumination. The indirect version is also fitted with RGB lighting, which allows the atmosphere in the room to be varied through the lighting.

Patients will also find the GIOCO frame lights in the waiting area.

The elegant black finish is continued in the linear corridor lights and the square bezels of the BE2 recessed spotlights, creating a consistent, clean aesthetic.
