Entrance hall & stairwells

The view from outside into the clinic through the glass front reveals a high-ceilinged room in the entrance hall of the thoracic clinic, supported by tall columns, showing the integrated staircase leading to the first balcony corridor and another balcony corridor one level higher. The bright, semi-circular reception desk is located directly in the basement. A recurring element are the large ring lights from the CIRCOLO series, which are suspended at various levels in the hall.

CIRCOLO L+A

Provides light and is acoustically effective

Noise pollution and poor acoustics are growing problems that we are increasingly exposed to in everyday life, resulting in increased stress and fatigue. It is therefore becoming increasingly important to improve acoustics. In addition, today's building materials and sizes have an impact on acoustics. There are always two sides to everything: while a high entrance area offers many advantages, high rooms usually also make it necessary to provide additional acoustically effective materials.

This has been taken into account here at the reception area of the hospital. The large-format round CIRCOLO Light + Acoustic pendant luminaires provide employees and visitors at the reception with sufficient light and also create a pleasant and more intimate atmosphere for conversation thanks to the acoustically effective fabric cover.

The CIRCOLO L+A light ring shines inwards and the acoustically effective material distributes the light evenly over the entire surface and directs it downwards.

Privacy screen protection

Particularly at reception desks where sensitive personal data is handled, it is important to ensure that this data is protected. Due to the open hall and the corridor facing the hall on the two floors above, it also makes sense to choose these opaque luminaires. This prevents strangers from seeing the forms or screens. And even if it is said that "all good things come from above", it is still good if nothing can fall on the heads of the employees sitting at the counter.

Shining inside and/or outside

The human body has an outside and an inside, both of which require attention and need to be cared for, seen and healed so that the person can shine again in all their glory. This is what we wish for all patients at the clinic!

A bright welcome on the path to recovery – a variety of ring lights from SATTLER:

CIRCOLO pendant lights that shine inside the ring and bring light inwards, upwards and downwards.

CIRCOLO INVERSE, the ring lights whose light surface is located on the outer diameter of the ring. They also shine in all directions.

Special requirements for luminaire installation in high rooms

With the mounting options and technical features of SATTLER luminaires, a high suspension height can be achieved without significant loss of performance. The various large-format luminaires also offer a wide range of choices and are ideal for large rooms, both in terms of size and, of course, light output. The CIRCOLO has a soothing effect in the room, not least because it visualises the harmony of the circle. The CIRCOLO luminaire series offers many sizes and has already been manufactured in even larger dimensions for various customers. For this project, special CIRCOLO L+A luminaires were manufactured in sizes Ø 2.3 m and Ø 2.6 m.
